USA: Alaskan Brewing Company receives safety award
The Alaskan Brewing Company for the third time has received an award recognizing it for its safety and health program, Associated Press has recently posted. Alaska Department of Labor commissioner Greg O'Clary attended Friday's ceremony in Juneau.
The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program, also known as SHARP, recognizes small employers who maintain top-notch workplace safety and health programs.
The award exempts the company from generally-scheduled state health and safety enforcement inspections through December of 2007.
