USA: Barely price movements in December
December's Index of prices received for all farm products in North Dakota advanced by 2 % during the month to 120 % of the 1990-1992 base, according to the North Dakota Field Office of the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service, according to the Farm and Ranch report.
This figure is down 1 % from last year and unchanged from two years ago. The All Crops Index was listed at 112 %, the same as last month, but down 4 % from December 2004.
Feed barley prices\ advanced seven cents to $1.45, while malting barley slid back three cents to $2.30 a bushel.
