Vietnam: Foster’s beer granted Integrated System Management certification
Foster’s Vietnam announced two of their domestic affiliates have received Integrated Management System (IMS) certificates on production and distribution under the Australian quality management system (QMS), Thanh Nien posted July 07.
Foster’s Danang and Foster’s Tien Giang in southern Tien Giang province have become the first business in Vietnam’s brewing industry to receive the IMS certificate.
The IMS certificate includes QMS-ISO 9001:2000; Environment Management System, EMS-ISO 14001:2004; and Occupational Health and Safety Management, OHSAS – 18001:1999.
In 1997 Foster’s paid AU$78 million for breweries in Vietnam’s port city of Danang and in Tien Giang province, outside Ho Chi Minh City.
The companies are well-known for products Biиre Larue, Larue Superior, Laure Export, BGI and orange juice Orangina.
