Japan & China: Kirin Brewery Co. to build new brewing facility in China

Kirin Brewery Co. plans to build a beer and soft drinks factory in China in a bid to strengthen its overseas operations, Shanghai Daily posted August 07 quoting Kirin President Kazuyasu Kato.

Kato said growth in the domestic market is limited, but Asia and Oceania markets are expected to grow. "It's better to produce and sell alcoholic and soft drinks together, and China is a good place to do it," he added.
