Interbrew, the third largest brewer in the world, and HSBC, one of the largest banking and financial services groups in the world, have amicably settled their recent dispute on the rights in the slogan "The World's Local Brewer", Interbrew reported in a press release.

According to the terms of the agreement, Interbrew and HSBC acknowledge each other's worldwide rights in their respective slogans "The World's Local Brewer" and "The world's local bank" and further agree not to challenge each other's use of its slogan.
