One of the three biggest beer producers of Ukraine, ZAO Oboloni, has reported good results for the first quarter of the current year. The company increased its output by 7.7% versus 2002 year and reached a volume of 87.3 million litres. In March the company produced 34.04 million litres of beer, 27.2% more then in February current year. Oboloni plans to increase beer output by 20% this year compared to 2002 year up to about 470 million litres. In 2002 the plant produced 389 million litres, 11.2% more then a year earlier.
The brewery Oboloni was created in 1980 year. About 2200 workers are engaged by the company.
