Barley news USA: Barley researchers and end-users discuss progress in Scab-resistant barley breeding
Barley researchers and end-users gathered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 3-5, 2013 to participate in the National Fusarium Head Blight Forum to discuss the progress made in developing Fusarium head blight (Scab) resistant barley varieties and the direction of future research, Farm & Ranch Guide reports.

The forum was made possible with funding from the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) as part of its nationwide efforts to combat Scab in wheat and barley called the US Wheat and Barley Scab Initiative (USWBSI).

Scab is a fungal infection of wheat and barley heads, and after several years of devastating losses to the disease in the upper Midwest in the mid-90s, Congress provided the USDA-ARS with funding for the USWBSI. Research has not only focused on identifying new sources of resistance, but also on refining techniques to incorporate new resistance into new barley varieties, and on cultural practices that minimize the occurrence and spread of the fungus.

Much of the early work focused on identifying resistance genes, and according to Dr. Brian Steffenson, University of Minnesota, “Most of the world’s major barley collections have been screened for Fusarium resistance”. At the same time, efforts on identifying the best management practices that lower the risk ...More info on site

Brewery news USA, MI: Craft beers industry makes locally-grown hops a high demand commodity in Michigan
Increasingly, consumers are seeking locally-grown products. This also translates to the craft beverage industry where Michigan-grown ingredients, such as hops, are becoming a high-demand commodity, Michigan State University Extension reported on December 31.

The products that supply the Michigan craft-beverage industry are a small, but growing force in regional food systems. Demand for Michigan-grown hops is increasing with the rapid expansion of the craft brewing industry in Michigan.

Consumer motivations for purchasing local products are varied. They may feel good about supporting a local farm or farmer. Some appreciate having a personal connection and understanding the farmer’s growing practices. Still others are attracted to the fact that locally-produced goods are fresher and spend less time being transported. Whatever the reason, these purchase motivations also carry forth to drinkers of Michigan craft-brewed beverages.

The Michigan Beer Guide reports in their November/December 2013 edition that there are 154 open breweries in Michigan and 138 have public hours. These are distributed across Michigan from Milan to Copper Harbor. An example of a Michigan brewery that uses locally-grown hops is Brewery Terra Firma in Traverse City, MI. Terra Firma grows their own ingredients on site, whenever agriculturally feasible.

Brewery news USA, WY & CO: Freedom’s Edge Brewing Company opens second location in Fort Collins
On January 3, Freedom’s Edge Brewing Co., a Cheyenne, WY-based microbrewery, opened a second location in Fort Collins, as the Coloradoan reported.

According to co-owner Tim Moore, the brewery’s expansion will start with a “small, community-focused pilot brew pub in Old Town” that will likely open by the end of February.

“We also have plans to open a larger production brewery later in the year in Fort Collins,” Moore added.

Since February 2012, Freedom’s Edge has been brewing signature beers, such as their 1890 IPA, and seasonal beers, such as the Black Raspberry Lambic, in Fort Collins.

According to the brewery’s website, the new Fort Collins location “will be a true small-batch craft brewery that will serve as our pilot brewery, so lots and lots of experimentation.”

“We will also be heavily involved with the home brewing community, allowing local brewers to come in and brew alongside of us.”

Brewery news USA & Spain: US brewing company partners with Spanish brewery to produce new beers
Due South Brewing, a US-based distributing microbrewery, has partnered with a new brewery - Edge Brewing - in Barcelona, Spain, Drinks Business Review reported on January 3.

Under the collaboration, Due South Brewing founder and head brewer Mike Halker will move to Spain in February 2014 to brew two different styles of beer.

Besides the production of new beers, other plans in the deal include introducing locals to Due South's beers and beer dinners.

Following this, Halker will return to Spain for the release of the new beers in early March 2014.

Halker was quoted by Craftbeer as saying that this collaboration indicates the beginning of a cultural shift in Spain, a country known more for its wine than its beer.

"The American craft beer movement is gaining popularity in Europe and Due South Brewing Co. is thrilled to help expose the people of Spain to the plethora of flavor possibilities when it comes to designing unique beers," Halker added.

Brewery news USA, OR & OH: Deschutes Brewery expands to Ohio
Add Deschutes Brewery to the growing list of brewers squeezing their ales onto shelves and bars in Northeast Ohio.

Deschutes, based in Bend, OR, will begin distribution in Ohio starting Jan 24. It comes a little more than a month after New Belgium Brewing Co. of Colorado expanded into the Ohio market.

The addition of Deschutes means all of the nation's 10 largest craft brewers will have beer sold in Ohio. The Oregon brewery is the nation's fifth largest craft brewer by volume.

Deschutes will offer retail sales and draft options in bars, Jason Randles, digital marketing manager for the brewery, told The Plain Dealer.

"There's always competition," he said. "Every state we go into the same question is asked (about the number of available beers)."

Ohio will be the 24th state in which Deschutes will have a sales presence, joining Illinois and Pennsylvania as the only states for distribution east of the Mississippi River, Randles said.

"For us ... to launch into a new market, there needs to be an established craft-beer scene," he said. "Great Lakes [Brewing Co.] has paved the way for that."

Deschutes has several things in common with Cleveland's Great Lakes Brewing Co.: Both recently marked 25 years in business; each started ...More info on site

Brewery news USA, KY, MI & WI: Kona brewing brand launches in 3 new states
Craft Brew Alliance announced on January 6 it will expand distribution of the Kona Brewing brand to three new states: Kentucky, Michigan and Wisconsin, according to Brewbound.

The company — which also produces the Widmer Brothers, Redhook, Omission Beer and Square Mile Cider brands — will initially sell its Longboard Lager and Big Wave Golden Ale in the new markets.

“We’re thrilled to be expanding Kona Longboard Island Lager and Big Wave Golden Ale to Kentucky, Michigan and Wisconsin,” said Robert Rentsch, the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing. “Last year at this time when we started our expansion in the Midwest, consumers were excited to enjoy a Kona brew and the Liquid Aloha spirit. We’re looking forward to brightening up this winter and bringing some Liquid Aloha to consumers in our three newest states.”

At CBA’s distributor meeting, held last October in Las Vegas, Rentsch said 2014 was “all about fueling the growth of Kona.”

At the same meeting, CBA said it planned to increase its overall marketing investment by 40 percent, a majority of which will be directed at growing the Kona brand this year. The company will look to purchase billboard space in its home markets, continue to increase its digital and ...More info on site

Brewery news USA, CA & WA: Telegraph Brewing beers to be distributed in Washington
Telegraph Brewing Co. announced on January 6 that its award-winning beers are now available in Washington through Seattle-based Orcas Distributing Ltd, according to Noozhawk.

“The Pacific Northwest is one of the most vibrant craft beer markets in the country,” founder and CEO Brian Thompson said. “This move marks a major milestone for our company.”

Telegraph is shipping draft and bottled beers to the Evergreen State, including allocations of limited-release and seasonal beers to complement their core, year-round beers like California ale and white ale.

“With every new market we add, we want to ensure that we are able to send our rare, sought-after beers along with our regular line up,” Telegraph sales manager Trevor Scoggins said.

Telegraph’s beers are available in both half-barrel (15.5-gallon) and sixth-barrel (5.2-gallon) kegs, and in 750-ml cork-and-cage bottles.

“We are thrilled to partner with Telegraph and are very excited to bring their unique beers to craft beer consumers in Seattle and throughout Washington state,” said Toshi Kojima, Orcas Distributing's vice president of marketing.

“There is such a long and storied history of craft beer in the Seattle area, and all of Washington really,” Thompson said. “We’re honored to be writing our own small chapter of that history.”

Brewery news USA, NC: Beech Mountain Brewing Company opens in the Alpine Village
The newest craft brewery in Western North Carolina has opened in the Alpine Village at Beech Mountain Resort. Beech Mountain Brewing Co. has the capacity to brew up to 100 gallons per day and will be open year round to serve skiers, snowboarders, mountain bikers and other resort visitors, Go Blue Ridge reported on January 6. The brewery features three distinct ales created on-site, with consulting from award-winning brewer Will Young of Blind Squirrel in nearby Plumtree, NC. Heading the list of beers is the 5506 Pale Ale, followed by the Liberty and Yard Sale Ales. Patrons may purchase these high-quality craft beers by the pint or the growler. Flight tastings are also available, along with brewery tours, which include a pint and a keepsake glass. "The brewery is yet another amenity added to the resort as part of our effort to become a year-round destination,” general manager Ryan Costin said. “With the growing popularity of craft beer in North Carolina, we believe our customers will enjoy the experience."

Brewery news USA, FL: New brewery opens in Miami's Wynwood District
The Wynwood Arts District, once known solely for harboring Miami's street art and counterculture, has slowly added culinary cultivation to its neighborhood agenda. After organically spring-boarding restaurants, a rum distillery, and a cigar company, Wynwood can now add a brewery to its area repertoire, USA TODAY reported on January 7.

The aptly named Wynwood Brewing Company soft-opened its tap room in mid-October and was warmly embraced by an anxious legion of beer aficionados. The tap room serves three year-round sips - La Rubia, Pop's Porter, and Wynwood IPA - as well as seasonal and limited-run crafts. Word of mouth during the two-week preview even led to one brew's sellout. "It was great to see strangers sitting together at the communal table and just talking and enjoying beers together," says founder Luis G. Brignoni.

If community building is part of the business' long-term goal, Brignoni is on the right track. The tap room is lined with original artwork by Wynwood muralists like CP1, Trek6, and Eva Ruiz. Wynwood Brewing Company's beer cans are even designed to resemble spray cans while each hand painted work pays to tribute an aspect to of the brewery's backstory. Several pieces put special emphasis on the Brignoni family's ...More info on site

Brewery news USA, OH: Lagunitas Brewing Company to debut in Cincinnati in February
Craft beer fans in Cincinnati will have yet another reason to rejoice during Cincinnati Beer Week. The brewery will finally arrive in the Queen City, WCPO reported on January 6.

Lagunitas’ launch is slated to happen in early February in conjunction with Cincinnati Beer Week.

The first beer to come will be the brewery’s flagship IPA, but other beers “may find their way to Cincinnati sooner rather than later.”

Leading the way will be the “Lagunators,” (the nickname for the company’s sales team), who will be hosting events throughout February.

The source at the brewery said, “We are thrilled to be launching in the Queen City and would have come sooner if we only had more beer. Our new brewery in Chicago should help us supply the city with fresh beer for a long time to come.”

Lagunitas is already sold in other Ohio cities but after an incident during its first rollout to the Buckeye State years ago had not to come back to Cincinnati.

Among the Lagunitas brews that fans are hoping for include Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’, a pale wheat ale that is one of the brewery’s top sellers in Ohio.

As of April 2013, Lagunitas was the sixth top-selling brewery in the U.S.

Brewery news USA, FL: Largo's Barley Mow Brewing to increase production eight-fold
Expansion was always part of the plan for Barley Mow, the little Largo brewpub Jay Dingman owns with his wife and fellow brewer, Colleen. But not this soon and not this big.

The original plan was to add a 20-barrel brewhouse at the end of the third year of brewing. Instead, Barley Mow Brewing Company will be adding a 30-barrel brewhouse in a few months and increase production eight-fold, Creative Loafing Tampa reported on January 4.

“That’s definitely in response to what’s going on in the industry,’’ Dingman said. “It’s kind of a race to get into that next chapter for us. We’ve worked really, really hard for two years and built a brand and dialed in our recipes.”

New breweries have grabbed much of the recent attention and continue to sprout around Tampa Bay. At least four new breweries are planned in the next few months: St. Petersburg Brewing, Motorworks in Bradenton, Angry Chair in Seminole Heights and Coppertail in Ybor City. But existing breweries are expanding to keep up with demand, in widely varying degrees.

Big Storm Brewing in Odessa added capacity last year to allow it to grow tenfold. Rapp Brewing aims to grow from 300 barrels last year to 500 ...More info on site

Brewery news USA, NC: Catawba Brewing Company plans to open tasting room, brewery near Biltmore
Asheville’s lively craft brewing community is soon to get another player, as Catawba Brewing plans to open a tasting room, followed by a small brewery, both near Biltmore Village, Asheville Citizen-Times reported on January 2.

Catawba looks to open the temporary tasting room in February as it begins construction on a boutique brewery, brewery founder Scott Pyatt said.

Catawba announced it would open the Asheville brewery last year but ran into permitting issues involving the use of an existing building at the site, he said.

“We will build a brand new facility,” he said. The company “is in the process of finalizing the blueprint” but hopes to have the new brewery going by summer, he said.

Rather than wait for its completion, Catawba will open a temporary tasting facility nearby. That venue will only operate until the full Asheville brewery is ready and will also be used to store brewing equipment.

The new plans will give Catawba “just what we want” said Scott Pyatt’s brother and business partner, Billy Pyatt, who has been greatly involved in the expansion process. “We have done so much in expanding our roots and our reach, and Asheville is a huge part of that,” Billy Pyatt said. “It’s not happening ...More info on site

Brewery news USA, VA: Falls Church resident raises $1.4 million to open Merrifield brewery
For U.S. Coast Guard Academy graduate Casey Jones, 45, brewing beer is a passion he has fostered for about a third of his life. “I have been into beer ever since I was legal to drink it,” he said. “And I have been making my own since at least 1999.”

This summer, Jones will open Fairfax County’s first packaging brewery, which he says will provide local restaurants and bars with an original hand-crafted variety of both annual and seasonal beers, Fairfaxtimes.com reported on January 3.

“We plan on providing at least four annual beers that we will make all year long,” said the Falls Church resident. “We will have an Indian pale ale, a pale ale, a red and a kolsch, which is like lighter beer almost like a light ale. In addition we plan to put out a variety of seasonal beers such as an apple strudel tripel beer, which is like a dessert pale ale. That’s something that my master brewer has produced before in Michigan. ”

Jones and his master brewer, Todd Parker, have successfully raised $1.4 million for their endeavor and are currently scouting out a location in the Mosaic area of Merrifield. Jones estimates that it will cost ...More info on site

Brewery news USA, AZ: Grand Canyon Brewing Company announces $2.7 mln expansion
Once just a brewpub serving up craft beer to Arizona locals, Grand Canyon Brewing Co. announced plans on January 2 to invest $2.7 million to expand its production facility and push into a handful of new markets in 2014, according to Brewbound.

In a press release, the company said it is beginning construction on a new, 27,000 sq. ft. production facility that is located less than a mile from its current home in Williams, AZ.

“We’ve been making a lot of beer out of a small little space,” said Drew Carricato, the company’s director of brewery operations.

At just 6,000 sq. ft., Grand Canyon’s current facility is a fraction of what’s to be built. The brewery produced “just under 6,000 barrels in 2013,” according to the release and Carricato said the company is aiming for 50-percent growth this year.

The space, equipped with a 40-barrel brewing system that is capable of producing 40,000 barrels annually — the state production limit for craft brewers — is expected to be operational by May, added Drew Carricato, director of brewery operations.

“There’s plenty of room to grow in the state of Arizona,” he said. “[We] just got into Vegas.

While the press release outlines the brewery’s plans to tap ...More info on site

Brewery news USA, IN: New craft brewery coming to Indianapolis
A microbrewery is coming to downtown Indianapolis, in an area near the Cultural Trail that’s experiencing robust residential building activity.

Owners of the upstart TwoDeep Brewing Co. have signed a long-term lease to occupy the 7,000-square-foot ground level. They hope to have the brewery and tap room operating by mid-May, Indianapolis Business Journal reported on January 2.

Indianapolis native Andy Meyer, 34, quit his job at NCM Media Networks to launch the operation after he “fell in love” with craft beer while living in Chicago, he said. He enrolled in the Siebel Institute of Technology, a brewing school in the Windy City, to help hone his skills. Two other partners also are involved in the business.

“We’re right on top of the Cultural Trail, which is a huge asset for us,” Meyer said. “[The area] is unserviced, in terms of what we’re doing. We’re truly creating a destination for people.”

Brewery news USA, PA: Brewery construction project in Allentown delayed until summer 2014
A $30 million construction project at the former Neuweiler Brewery site in Allentown will begin a bit later than originally expected, The Express Times reported on December 30.

Ruckus Brewing Co. plans to establish a full-scale brewery operation and other mixed-use space in the 400,000-square-foot project.

Construction was originally expected to begin by the end of 2013 but now has been pushed to no sooner than May or June, as financing details are still being finalized.

Josh Wood, CEO of Ruckus Brewing Co., said the project's prospects remain good and he is optimistic there will be no need for another extension when summer arrives.

"We're taking it day by day and step by step," Wood said. "I'm an eternal optimist but we're working our butt off to get this done."

Ruckus had intended to close on the Neuweiler property by the end of this year, which itself was an extension of its originally projected closing date in October.

But the closing was postponed again until early March because the company is still finalizing the details with some of its financial partners.

"We're still in negotiations so we weren't in a position to sign them and make it official in December so we just needed an additional few ...More info on site

Brewery news USA, WA: Chuckanut Brewery launches bottled Pilsner
Chuckanut Brewery announced on January 7 that bottles of the award winning Chuckanut Pilsner are now being sold at the brewery Kitchen and selected accounts in Bellingham. The brewery bottling line is a six head Meheen Bottler from eastern Washington set up to fill ½ liter glass bottles. Chuckanut plans on having their distributor in the northern Puget Sound area, Dickerson Distributing and Click Distributing in the Seattle area distribute bottled Chuckanut beer as the brewers get more familiar with the bottling machine and labeler. Currently the bottles are hand labeled and can only be bought from Chuckanut Brewery and special accounts.

The brewery plans to continue to release other styles of Chuckanut beer as they grow the bottled line. Next to be bottled will be Chuckanut Kolsch followed later by Vienna Lager, Dunkel Lager, Yellow Card Golden Ale, and Helles Lager. Learning the bottling machine will take time and Chuckanut wants to make sure each beer is well taken care of and gets to the consumer in the best condition. With that in mind concentrating on Chuckanut Pilsner first will give the brewers more practice on bottling and the line of beers will expand as the brewers learn more about ...More info on site

Hops news USA: Some small craft brewers having trouble securing hops for their beers
Some small craft brewers in the US are having trouble securing hops for their flavorful beers, even though Washington state farmers have boosted production of the crop in recent years, The Seattle Times reported on January 7.

Growing demand from craft brewers is prompting more farmers to plant the aroma variety of hops that add herbal, fruity and floral flavors to microbrews.

The Tri-City Herald reported on January 6 that Washington farmers harvested more than 54.9 million pounds of hops last year, up 13 percent from 2012.

But the number of craft breweries is also growing. As of 2013, there were almost 2,500 craft breweries nationwide, according to the Boulder, Colo.-based Brewers Association. That was nearly 500 more than 2011.

Mike Sutherland, owner of White Bluffs Brewing in Richland, says those breweries are all competing for hops.

Area breweries say they don't expect the demand for craft beers to decline.

Craft beers are flavorful, said Geoff Gruetzmacher of Richland's Growler Guys. And it's that taste that has helped make them popular.

Hops farmer Dan Newhouse, co-owner of Irving Newhouse & Sons near Sunnyside, said he used to think microbreweries were a fad. But the continuing popularity is a good thing for hop farmers because craft breweries tend ...More info on site

Whisky news World: Drinks companies using whisky brands to sell flavoured spirit drinks
Drinks companies have become braver about using whisky brands to sell spirit drinks that don't meet strict Scotch whisky rules, as the industry prepares for another year of production expansion, The Herald reported on January 2.

Meanwhile, more marketing heft is being directed to single malts, even as blends remain dominant in the sales mix, as companies seek to establish their whiskies as luxury brands.

This is occurring against a backdrop of expansion in production with Swedish company Grythyttan turning to investors this month seeking £1 million to build a distillery on Orkney (Scotland).

French spirits giant Pernod Ricard is currently shipping the first bottles of Ballantine's Brasil to target markets in Spain, France and Latin America.

The drink mixes Ballantine's whisky with lime but to meet rules about the use of the term Scotch whisky, which are enshrined in European law, the company describes it as a "spirit drink".

It is targeted at young nighttime consumers who already drink Ballantine's Finest with mixers.

Earlier this year, privately owned Edrington used its Famous Grouse brand to launch Ginger Grouse, an alcoholic ginger beer "infused" with its flagship whisky, targeting the Scottish market.

The likes of Drambuie have also long used whisky in liqueur.

Brewery news Namibia: The Namibian Competition Commission approves takeover of Camelthorn Brewing by Namibia Breweries Limited
The Namibian Competition Commission has approved the takeover of microbrewery, Camelthorn Brewing, by Namibia Breweries Limited. The approval is without conditions, the Commission announced on January 6.

According to a report by AllAfrica.com, the Commission said the merger is not likely to give rise to anti-competitive concerns in view of the significance of NBL in the Namibian beer market.

The Commission said it also considered the fact that Camelthorn is currently facing financial difficulty, and based on the evaluation of it being determined a failing undertaking, it resolved to approve the merger without conditions.

Namibia Breweries is the biggest commercial beer company in Namibia, while Camelthorn is a micro brewer of organic craft beers including brands such as Weissbier, Light Weissbier, Helles, Gold, Red Ale and Sundowner.

In December, NBL announced on the Namibia Stock Exchange, that it had advised shareholders that negotiations were still in progress, which if successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the price of the company´s shares.

In December, it emerged that Camelthorn Brewing Company, has reached a debt settlement agreement with the Development Bank of Namibia over a N$10 million debt.

The loan capital that Camelthorn obtained from the DBN was N$10.1 million and accumulated interest until end May ...More info on site

Brewery news UK & Russia: UK’s Inveralmond Brewery signs a deal to export its beers to Russia
An independent Perthshire, UK, craft brewery has signed a major deal to export four of its most popular beers to Russia, The Scotstman reported on January 7.

Inveralmond Brewery, which is based in Perth, has reached an agreement with Russian distribution company Elizabet to sell its Lia Fail, Ossian, Thrappledouser and Blackfriars beers in the expanding Baltic market.

A spokeswoman for the brewery said: “Russia is one of the UK’s fastest-growing export markets and the third-largest export market outside Europe and North America. Assisted by Scottish Development International in establishing the trade, Inveralmond Brewery is the latest Scottish food and drink producer to join a growing Russian export market and is expected to see sales rise as a direct result.”

She added: “Until very recently Russia had considered beer a ‘soft’ drink, or more specifically a ‘foodstuff’, as it fell below the 10 per cent alcohol limits until Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed a bill, which came into effect in January 2012, that now officially classifies beer as alcoholic.

“Soaring in popularity in recent years, with Russian beer sales rising by more than 40 per cent, the product is frequently marketed to Russians as a healthier alternative to spirits.”

Brewery news Jamaica: Brewer Red Stripe signs land lease agreement to grow cassava
Jamaica’s Agriculture Ministry and brewing company Red Stripe signed a lease agreement on January 7 for lands at Bernard Lodge in St Catherine to facilitate a multi-million dollar cassava-growing project, Jamaica Observer reported.

The agreement signed at Red Stripe’s Spanish Town Road head office in Kingston will facilitate the provision of an initial 36.2 acres to implement a pilot project.

“Thirty-six acres might seem small. But what you intend to do is employ best practices and you are going to be moving cassava production to the level (where) farmers can make (a livelihood) out of growing cassava,” Agriculture minister Roger Clarke said at the signing.

The pilot is the initial phase of the project targeting some 500 acres for cultivation over an 18-month period by Red Stripe, with some US$1 million earmarked for this segment of the undertaking.

Diageo, Red Stripe’s parent company aims to replace 20 per cent of imported inputs, primarily barley, used in the production of its flagship product Red Stripe Beer, by 2016.

A successful implementation of the pilot project is expected to pave the way for an increase in cassava production by Diageo/Red Stripe to some 2,400 acres over a five-year period. Approximately 2,500 stakeholders, primarily farmers, are expected to ...More info on site

Brewery news Tanzania: Local distributor assures its customers it would work on increasing sales volume of Windhoek Premium Lager
Mabibo Beer Wines and Spirit Limited has assured its customers that it would work on obstacles hampering the increase of sales volume of Windhoek Premium Larger amid its plan of setting a plant for brewing the beers in Tanzania, Daily News reported on January 6.

The company has exclusive rights of importing and distributing the beer brand in the country. It is currently importing the products from Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL), the manufacturer of Windhoek.

Mabibo’s Director General Benedictor Rugemalira told a news conference that his company would also make sure that bar owners and other sellers stick to the recommended price of 58,000/- per carton so that the beers reach customers at cheap price.

“Bar owners are required to sell a bottle of Windhoek at 3,000/- or a differential of 500/- of local beer. Through such price, the bar owner is assured of reaping a profit of 14,000/- per carton. This profit cannot be obtained from any other local beer in the country,” she stressed.

Ms Rugemalira said that if bar owners would adhere to the price recommended by her company, the volume of sales of Windhoek would go up. She thanked bar outlets that have stuck to the price and promised to ...More info on site
