Hampshire-based Ringwood Brewery saw turnover grow five per cent to £9m in 2006, The Publican announced February 23.
The brewer said pre-tax profits rose by 13 per cent, but declined to reveal any more details concerning its results.
David Welsh, Ringwood’s managing director (pictured far left), said: “These results, against a competitive background of a fiercely competitive sector, are a testament to the hard work of our staff and the loyalty of our customers.”
Ringwood was founded in 1978 and produces 33,000 barrels annually. It employs 73 staff and owns seven pubs across Devon and Hampshire, as well as a vineyard in the Berger region of France.
