There are around 200 malt plants in China. 60% of them have a production capacity of less than 10 thousand tons, and 5% of more than 70 thousand tons. Some of the plants don’t have cooling systems and function only 4 months per annum. Currently, 3 new malt plants with a total project capacity of 500 thousand tons are under construction.
