UK brewer Scottish & Newcastle has registered a less decrease in beer sales compared to the market. The market fell 2.9% in the 11 months to the end of March, while brewer’s volume fell only 1.4%. The brewer has sign a five-year contract to sell beer to the 900 pubs, bought recently by Namura from Bass.
