Shares in Belgian brewer InBev fell as much as 2.7 percent as traders cited market talk that JPMorgan was placing 4 million shares of the company, according to Reuters, December 19.
JPMorgan declined comment and InBev was not immediately available to comment.
InBev shares were trading at 54.4 euros. The shares were the biggest percentage loser in the pan-European FTSEurofirst 300 index, which was down 0.3 percent. JPMorgan was placing shares between 54 and 54.5 euros per share, traders said.
The shares being placed represent nearly 0.7 percent of InBev's total shares in issue, according to Reuters data.
