Foundation of GlobalMalt Ploska Sp.z o. o. - Report of GlobalMalt GlobalMalt. a joint venture of Schill-Malz and Tivoli Malz. has founded GlobalMalt Polska Sp. z o. o. together with a local partner in Poland. On 1 February 2001. this company obtained 100% of the Fordon malthouse in Bydgoszcz. Poland. The company is located approx. 250 km north-west of Warsaw and has its own port on the River Vistula as well as road and rail connections. Its current capacity is 40.000 tonnes of malt and this will be increased to 70.000 tonnes. With this acquisition and an expansion of capacity. GlobalMalt has a total production of 310.000 tonnes of malt. putting it at No. 9 in the list of the world s trading malthouses.
