Publicly-listed brewery PT Delta Djakarta is set to chalk up a 20% increase in sales to Rp1 trillion (US$111 million) this year, up from Rp836 billion last year, Asia Pulse reported April 25.
The producer and distributor of various products of pilsner and black beer recorded a 50% increase in sales to Rp221 billion in the first quarter of this year, compared with the same period last year.
Finance Controller Afrijanto said the company's target for net profit is set at Rp51.8 billion or an increase of 10% from last year.
Afrijanto expressed optimism that the target could be achieved, as in the first quarter of the year its net profit had already reached 18 billion or a 116% rise year-on-year.
