The consumption of strong beers in Ireland as of autumn 2008 has become minimal during the last 6 years, Pivnoe Delo reported on September, 17.
Sales of strong beer fell by7% in Ireland over the first eight months of this year, according to an official statement by Drinks Industry Group of Ireland.
Michael Patten, chairman of the Drinks Industry Group of Ireland, said: “Most likely, next year we will see the consumption of strong beer fall no less than 8%.”
