Baltika Breweries sales in Moldova constituted about 15 mln litres over the January – September period, InfoTag reported on November, 14.

According to Yanina Mashkova, the company’s sales manager in Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova, Baltika’s share of the Moldavian beer market grew to 15%, and its profit constituted about €3 mln over the reporting period.

Ms Mashkova said Baltika invested in its operations in Moldova €300 thousand in the first nine months of this year. She said the nation’s market is attractive for the Russian brewer because Moldova’s beer consumption grows 10% annually. The per capita beer consumption already achieved 30 litres, she informed.
