Bavaria S. A., Colombia’s leading beverage producer, announced on December, 26 that it would not raise its prices in January 2009.

“This way suggested prices will remain stable during the start of the new year, seeking to protect consumer wallets in times when other products are already announcing their price increase for 2009,” the company posted on its website.

Bavaria S. A. is the largest beverage company of Colombia. Its brands Águila, Águila Light, Póker, Costeña, Pilsen, Peroni, Club Colombia, Redd’s, Costeñita, Cola y Pola, Pony Malta, Brisa, Brisa Spa and Brisa con Gas, are leaders in their respective beverage categories in the country.
