Yanjing Brewery, the Chinese brewer has registered a 2.14 % rise of its net profit up to CNY116.20 million for the first six months of the current fiscal year, versus CNY113.77m in the corresponding first half of previous year. The company said the half-year profit rise is due to an increase in beer sales outside Beijing. Turnover for the first half rose from CNY1.27 billion to CNY1.56 billion.
Yanjing recently acquired a 38.15% stake in Huiquan Brewage Group Inc., China's ninth largest brewery.
