Australia’s beverage company, Foster’s Group Limited (Foster’s), announced on September 4, 2003 the appointment of Neville Fielke as Senior Vice President Global Strategy and Business Development, reporting to the group’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ted Kunkel. Mr Fielke will join Foster’s in mid November with responsibility for the direction and management of strategic planning and development activities for the global business.

Mr Fielke joins Foster’s from Racing Victoria Limited where he was Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, Mr Fielke spent more than 20 years working with leading FMCG companies, including four years as Chief Executive Officer of Heinz Watties Australasia and three years as Chief Executive Officer of HJ Heinz Australia.

Mr Fielke holds a Bachelor of Economics from Flinders University, SA, and a Company Directors’ Graduate Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has also completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, USA.

“Neville adds depth and experience to the senior management team and brings a general management perspective to the important strategic and development role, at a time when the Company is in a strong financial position to consider all its future strategic growth options," said Foster's President and CEO, Ted Kunkel.
