E-Malt.com News article: Poland: No more beer on local trains and train station cafeterias
Brewery news

Poland’s lower house of parliament has voted to ban the sale of beer in dining cars in Polish trains and train station cafeterias, Polskie Radio reported on July, 17.

“We will not allow the sale of alcohol in wagons and at train stations,” stated Deputy Health Minister Marek Haber.

The government introduced the bill in the national parliament to avoid contradicting regulations amongst various regions of Poland. Beer will still be for sale, however, on international trains travelling, for example, from Berlin to Warsaw.
