AWP, Australian Wheat Forecaster Pty Ltd, has increased its forecast for the barley crop in Australia in 2003/04 crop year by 7.8% up to 7.58 million tones. In that way this year Australia will harvest the biggest crop of barley. In 2001/02 crop year, Australia harvested 8.42 million tones of barley.
