Russia may export around 5 million tonnes of wheat and barley of this year's harvest, experts at the Russian Grain Union said. They told Itar-Tass the export capability of the Russian farming sector was much smaller this year than in 2002 due to harvest shortfalls in a number of regions. In 2002, grain producers and commercial companies exported around 16 million tons of grain.
