| E-Malt.com News article: US, CA: Tap It Brewing to dramatically increase availability of its beers thanks to an agreement with Pacific Beverage Co.
Tap It Brewing Co. announced on March, 22 that it has reached an agreement with Pacific Beverage Co. to distribute its complete line of American All Malt Ales throughout Central California.
Pacific Beverage Co., a subsidiary of Jordano's, whose roots extend into the community all the way back to 1915, is the largest beer wholesale operation servicing California's Central Coast region which includes San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Pacific Beverage maintains facilities in Santa Margarita, Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, and Oxnard which service their 3,100 retail accounts each week.
Tap It Brewing Co. currently produces an India Pale Ale and an American Pale Ale at its 10,000 square foot production microbrewery just South of the San Luis Obispo's eclectic downtown area. Prior to this announcement the new San Luis Obispo brewery, which began operation only late last year, already had seen its products placed into over 50 local retailers, restaurants and bars. Their new relationship with Pacific Beverage Co. should prove to dramatically increase availability.
"We both feel that our union has a great synergy to it," said Tap It Brewing co-owner John Gordon, who continued, "Working with the strong management team at Pacific, we have no doubt that we will have a lot of fun together building the craft beer market here in California."
Tap It Brewing has allied with Pacific Beverage based on their substantial market coverage, professional capabilities and unmatched customer service. "All of us at Tap It are delighted to be entering into business with a distributor that not only has a great track record, but also one whose values of integrity and quality so closely align with ours," said Emily Burgess, Tap It Brewing Director of Sales, who added, "With Pacific behind us, all I can say is 'We better get brewing!'"
Tap It Brewing Co., LLC represents San Luis Obispo County's seventh microbrewery.
