The Belgian Interbrew has made public its results for 2001, which proved to be very encouraging for its investors. Thus, in 2001 the Interbrew’s net profit registered an increase of 65%, reaching the amount of EUR 537mln.
In what concerns the profit per share , here the results are also positive The objectives of Belgian giant to attain an increase of 12% of the earnings per share before goodwill ,were not only accomplished, but even surpassed ,the earnings per share rising to EUR 1.44 (+ 19%) . As a result of this positive evolution , the dividend paid for one share, also increased to EUR 0,29 , which is a growth of 38% .
The second largest brewer in the world, is confident that owing to its efficient strategies and financial potential it will be able ,by 2004, to increase annually, its earnings per share before goodwill by 2 digits .
