One of Orange County's best barbecue and beer restaurants is expanding, The Orange County Register reported on July, 4.

The always packed Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach is opening a second, and much larger, restaurant on July, 5 in Long Beach. The new restaurant, dubbed Beachwood BBQ and Brewing, is nearly three times the size of the original Main Street barbecue joint. And to the delight of craft brew aficionados, the new restaurant will be brewing its own beer in-house and selling take-home growlers - perks not available in Seal Beach.

"We’ll be producing about eight year-round finely crafted brews, with a few seasonal and other special beer projects going alongside," said Jarred Ekstrom, creative manager for both restaurants. "And yes, we are keeping our normal guest tap list of about 24 rotating taps featuring only the finest in craft beer."
