According December's report of USDA, export of barley from Ukraine over the 2003/04 MY (July to June) is forecasted at the level of 800,000 tonnes - up from 500,000 tonnes, forecast by USDA in November.
According to Ukrainian customs statistics, Ukraine exported as much as 714,000 tonnes of barley already in the period since July to October. According to APK-Inform forecast, the export of this crop over the whole marketing year may reach 1 million tonnes.
