The Stevens Point Brewery is rolling out a new brew, Drop Dead Blonde Ale, this summer, BizTimes.com reported on August, 4.

A 110-calorie ale flaunting a golden hue, Drop Dead Blonde Ale will be introduced on draft at select destinations, fairs and special events throughout Wisconsin in August, according to Joe Martino, Stevens Point Brewery operating partner.

Brewing a blonde ale enhances the appeal of the Stevens Point Brewery’s entire portfolio within the craft beer market, which grew by 11 percent in 2010, even while the overall beer market declined slightly, Martino added.

Drop Dead Blonde Ale, which expands Stevens Point Brewery’s portfolio of ales, is brewed with Sterling hops from the Pacific Northwest and a blend of two-row barley malts.
