The new Troegs brewery, nicknamed “T2,” is on track for a grand opening later this year, Pennlive.com reported on August, 24.

On August, 24, the Harrisburg-based brewer celebrated the arrival of fermenting tanks at the new brewery on Hersheypark Drive.

The brewery is scheduled to be completed in October, and operations will gradually shift from the company’s original Paxton Street brewing facility through the fall.

The brewery will be much larger and will incorporate an indoor pedestrian pathway for year-round brewery tours. The current brewery offers tours only on Saturdays, and due to the cramped setting, must cease brewing while tours are conducted.

A large taproom will open alongside the brewery, as well as a Troegs gift shop.
