One local beer market is doing all they can to bring Sierra Nevada brewery to East Tennessee, Volunteertv.com reported on August, 25.

Sierra Nevada out of Chico, California, is looking to come to either Alcoa in Blount County or Southwest Virginia.

Bearden Beer Market held a "Bring big green to Blount County Rally" on August, 25 to convince the beer company to come here. Everyone wore green and played corn hole.

Bearden Beer Market Owner Christopher Morton says, "We're hoping we have people in Chico listening and seeing what our community has to offer and hopefully influence their decision."

Morton hopes to show Sierra Nevada this region has a lot of people who enjoy good beer.
