Duvel Moortgat a brewery from Belgium, declared its results for 2001. According to its statement, the Belgian brewer managed to increase its sales by 6% (+ EUR 9,9 mln) in 2001, the company’s turnover achieving the value of EUR 51.6 mln. The net profit of Duvel Moortgat was of EUR 5,16 mln in 2001.

These positive results are, in great part, due to the sales expansion strategy pursued by the company with a focus on 3 markets from Western Europe (United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands ) and the market from the United States. This course of action, according to the Belgian brewer, will be kept on for the following year.
