For the past few years, craft beer drinkers in Winnipeg have looked forward to December as the release date for a new annual vintage of Half Pints Burlywine – and with good reason, as it was considered by many to be one of the best barley wines in Canada, Canadian Beer News reported on December, 13.

This year, however, the Burlywine has been set aside in favour of a new winter seasonal, Demeter’s Harvest.

Demeter’s Harvest was debuted at the brewery’s annual Open House event earlier this month, and is now available in 650 ml bottles at select MLCC locations. And also out now is Sweet Nikki Brown, a returning seasonal that will be available until February.
