Alley Kat Brewing has announced details of the next instalment in their “Big Bottle” series of limited edition beers, which will be the first for 2012, Canadian Beer News reported on January, 5.

The new beer – Abbey Kat Belgian Style Quad – is described as a “double Dubbel” or Quadrupel brew.

Abbey Kat will be launched at the brewery on Friday January 13th with a tasting party from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It will also be available in 650 ml bottles at select private liquor stores in Alberta, as well as at the Alley Kat brewery store.
