| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, BC: Phillips Brewing releases Mass Extinction Ice Barley Wine
Phillips Brewing has announced the release of Mass Extinction Ice Barley Wine, a new limited edition winter brew, Canadian Beer News reported on January, 17.
This beer was ice-aged at glacial temperatures. It was frozen 3 times during the Fermentation Period causing the remaining liquid to distill into naturally-sweetened nectar, and driving the ABV up to 12%.
Mass Extinction is available in 341 ml bottles at select private liquor outlets on Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland of BC for a limited time.
