Dieu du Ciel! has launched a new series of unique blended beers that will be available exclusively at the DDC brewpub in Montreal, Canadian Beer News reported on March, 5.

Named Symbiose, the series will feature beers created by blending freshly brewed beer with older beer aged in oak barrels for various lengths of time.

For Symbiose #1, a newly brewed sour wheat beer made with cherries and fermented with a mixed yeast culture was blended with an ale aged for 18 months in a bourbon barrel.

Symbiose #1 is on tap now at the Dieu du Ciel! brewpub, and is strictly limited to 400 litres.
