HogsBack Brewing has announced a new partnership agreement with Ashton Brewing that will allow the former to use the latter’s brewing facility to create small batch beers for the Ottawa market, Canadian Beer News reported on March, 13.

While the company is based in Ottawa, HogsBack currently has its flagship brand, HogsBack Vintage Lager, brewed under contract at Cool Brewing in Etobicoke. While that arrangement will continue, this partnership with Ashton will give HogsBack access to a local brewery for the first time, providing the opportunity to brew one-off and seasonal beers for licensees in the Ottawa Valley.

Brewing has started on the first beer in the series, which is expected to be available in April to mark HogsBack’s second anniversary.
