Two Roads Brewing Company LLC acquired US Baird Corporation's factory building in Stratford, NY for $2.85 mln, or $27.50 per square foot, Costar.com reported on March, 28.

The two-story, 103,652-square-foot industrial building was originally built in 1920 and has been vacant since 2007. US Baird retained the factory building for 150 years, making it part of the Stratford landscape.

The Two Roads Brewing Company plans to revitalize the former manufacturing building, while retaining the building's integrity, and will be creating a state-of-the-art brewing facility. The revitalization will include adding a brew house, high-speed bottling, canning and kegging area, a tasting room overlooking the brew house, and space for private events and outdoor festivals. Two Roads Brewing Company anticipates a September 2012 opening.
