The assumptions from the past according to which South African Breweries would have eyed Miller, are now confirmed. The fact that South African brewer was very serious about purchasing Miller,is definitely proved by a latest event –SAB is in advanced negotiations to purchase Miller against the amount of US $5 milliard.

This historical event could happen if the conditions of Philip Morris , among which are payment in cash of US $2milliard and the control over a 25% stake in the company , are met.

The final results of these unprecedented talks will be known in several weeks .
