Belarusian beer exports increased by 6% in January – May 2012 as compared to the same period in 2011, to 0.25 mln hl, Naviny.by reported on June, 11.
The volume exported during the first five months of the year corresponds to 44.3% of the annual state plan, it is reported.
Lidskoe Pivo brewery remains Belarus’ leading beer exporter (43.6 thousand hl shipped abroad in January – May this year, plus 54.5% versus the same period in 2011).
Domestic beer sales totalled 1.5 mln hl in the first five months of this year, 2.2% more than in January – May last year.
