Lion Nathan announced that in spite of the fact that the group is anticipating an increase of about A$160mln ( + 13%) in its profits for 2001-2002, in China it is expecting to register a loss of A$14.3mln for the same financial year.
Lion Nathan mentioned that it will do its best to redress this situation , particularly by lowering the costs and by expanding its activity into the surroundings of important Chinese cities.
