| E-Malt.com News article: USA, FL: Two new breweries begin producing their own beer
Two established venues, one in Largo and the other in Tallahassee, will be the next additions to Florida’s list of breweries, Examiner.com reported on July, 24.
Barley Mow Brewing Company in Largo and Tallahassee’s Proof Brewing have been pouring beer as a craft beer bar, but after obtaining proper licensing, they will both transition to breweries.
Barley Mow Brewing Company has been waiting over a year for paperwork and plans, and the culmination was the release of fifteen different beers.
Proof, which is a combination bar and liquor store, will take the next step in becoming a brewery as it launches a glassware giveaway and will pour its own beer. Proof will be pouring a wheat ale, dubbed Larry’s Americanized Wheat, and a Rye, dubbed Proof’s Big Rye Ale.
