EFES Group, the first brewery from Turkey, controlling 78% of Turkish beer market, has signed a license agreement with Interbrew, which gives EFES an exclusive right to produce and distribute Beck's in Turkey and Northern Cyprus.

The signing of this important agreement has also a particular importance for Belgian giant, as it gives Interbrew the possibility to enter firmly the Turkish beer market where the annual beer consumption is of 7.2 mln hectoliters.
