| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, ON: Ramblin’ Road Brewery Farm to open soon in Norfolk County
After several years of planning and delays due to zoning changes and an appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board that was eventually cleared, John Picard of Picard Foods is close to launching his new brewing operation in Norfolk County, Canadian Beer News reported on August, 8.
While legally registered as J. Picard Brewing, the new brewery will be branded and promoted as Ramblin’ Road Brewery Farm - the “Farm” designation indicating that hops being grown on site are being used in making the company’s beers.
Ramblin’ Road will launch with a traditional lager that will start production in late August, followed later in the fall by “an India Pale Ale, signature beer and another variety of ale.”
