Fernie Brewing Company will unveil Black Mammoth Winter Ale in mid-December 2012 to celebrate its 10th anniversary, The Drinks Business Review reported on December, 7.

The proposed 8% ABV beer will be available for only limited period till January, 1, 2013.

Fernie Brewing brewmaster Gord Demaniuk said that the beer is a strong winter black ale with organic cocoa and curacao orange peel.

''Extra aging on oak adds smoothness and complexity,'' Demaniuk added.

The brewery has also launched Lone Wolf IPA and Sap Sucker Maple Porter during 2012.
