Boston’s Harpoon Brewery has launched the 46th entry in its 100 Barrel Series, Shanken Daily News reported on January, 22.

Created by Harpoon board of directors members Jim Perry and Mark Edwards, the 100 Barrel Series Directors’ Cut is a blend of pale ale and stout.

The 6.3%-abv offering will be sold in 22-ounce bottles and have limited draft availability.

Founded in 2003, the limited edition 100 Barrel Series was designed to showcase the talents of Harpoon’s brewers, with a new brewer asked to formulate a unique beer every few months.
