Heineken intends to adopt another, improved strategy for getting the leading position on the Chinese beer market, as the current strategy which has been mainly based on the promotion of premium Heineken brand did not bring the expected results . For redressing this situation and for being able to be the first in China, Heineken plans to buy local beer brands.
