| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, NB: Picaroons Traditional Ales launches new beer series with 104th Regiment Ale
Picaroons Traditional Ales announced on February, 19 the launch of a new series of beers inspired by moments and icons in the history of New Brunswick.
The series started with the release of 104th Regiment Ale, a 4.2% ale marking the 200th anniversary of an important military event.
On February 16th 1813, New Brunswick’s 104th Regiment of Foot started a more than 1100 kilometre march from Fredericton, New Brunswick to modern day Kingston, Ontario, to reinforce the British garrison and thwart an expected American invasion. This epic march stands as a great achievement in both military and New Brunswick history.
104th Regiment Ale is available exclusively at the Picaroons Brewtique taproom in downtown Fredericton while supplies last.
