Buffalo Commons Brewing Company, a new microbrewery, is now open in Bismarck-Mandan, North Dakota, The Bismarck Tribune reported on March, 3.
Owner Ted Hoffman said the location is a 15-barrel packaging brewery where he makes his beers. The beers are then distributed by McQuade Distributing Co. Inc. Hoffman said in the future he wants to open the brewery to tours and tastings on weekends.
Hoffman brews four beers: Salem Sue Stout, Northern Border Pale Ale, Buffalo Commons Brown Ale and Wind Blown Wheat Ale. He said eventually he would like to distribute his beer statewide but decided to start in Bismarck-Mandan to “get the kinks worked out.”
