Griffin Claw Brewing Co’s owners announced on Tuesday, July, 2 that the brewery is set to open in Birmingham on July 18, Detroit News reported.

The brewing facility boasts a 100-person capacity taproom and a German-style biergarten and outdoor patio that seats an additional 75 people.

The 12,000-square-foot facility will brew the award-winning beer for Big Rock Chophouse. Four of Griffin Claw’s beers — Norm’s Raggedy Ass, El Rojo Amber Ale, Grand Trunk Pilsner and Grind Line Pale Ale — will also be distributed in other bars and liquor stores throughout the state.

Bonnie LePage and Mary Nicholson are the owners of Griffin Claw Brewing Co. Their husbands Norman LePage and Ray Nicholson own the nearby Big Rock Chophouse, as well as Got Rocks Diamond Crown Cigar Lounge and the Reserve.
