Ukraine: In February 2004 only four Ukrainian companies imported foreign malt, ProAgro revealed on April 8. The leader was Yantar Brewery. Other companies, which imported malt, were Slavutich Brewery, Desna Brewery and Foods Trade Company from Rovno city, according to ProAgro. Meanwhile malt to Ukraine was delivered by three foreign companies. The absolute leader was the French company Malteurop. The malt was also shipped to Ukraine by Finish company Viking Malt OY and Russian TD Bryanskoe Pivo.

In January 2004 the leader among Ukrainian malt importers was Metalloprocat Company from Ujgorod. Among foreign malt suppliers to Ukraine was Gratius LLC, USA.
