| E-Malt.com News article: USA, AL: Black Warrior Brewing Company opens in Tuscaloosa
Black Warrior Brewing Company opened its doors for the first time in Tuscaloosa, AL on November 8.
Owners Jason Spikes, Joe Fuller, Michael Musgrove, Eric Hull and Wayne Yarbrough have been working for a year to convert their building on University Boulevard from an old barbershop into a brewery, according to Tuscaloosa News.
For the opening, they prepared apricot wheat, crimson red and blonde ale. By November 9, they are planning to have a fourth with the introduction of the brown ale.
Musgrove said that within the next two weeks they hope to have a total of eight beers on tap and to begin distributing to local bars. For now, the new beers will be available only in their taproom, which is located at 2216 University Blvd.
A grand opening will be planned sometime in the near future.
