Delray Beach's Saltwater Brewery is scheduled to open its doors at noon on December 30, and start a new age of locally produced beer in Delray, New Times Broward-Palm reported on December 26.
The 20 barrel brewhouse is the latest and newest of a range of Broward/Palm Beach breweries that have opened in the past few years, including Due South in 2012 and Funky Buddha's production brewery in 2013.
Starting off the inaugural winter season, the team at Saltwater will have a number of their core six beers on tap: an extra pale ale, an IPA, a DIPA, a milk stout, a Belgian blond, and a scotch ale.
Brewmaster Bill Taylor has brought his brewing skills from the icy north of Neptune's Brewery in Livingston, Montana to South Florida. "I brew my beers on style and to the best they can be," Taylor said.
